Little Ferry, N.J. resident Michael Ferrante Jr. pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree arson after admitting to attempting to light a friend's 2008 Jeep Wrangler on fire in Orange County last July, according to the report.

As part of the guilty plea, it is expected that Ferrante will be sentenced to six months in jail, followed by five years probation. The judge reportedly capped the sentence at that term. Ferrante must also pay nearly $1,000 in restitution to the owner of the Jeep’s insurance company.

Ferrante will be free on bail until he is officially sentenced next month on Feb. 20.
